At least a half dozen Governors have signed on to a letter addressing Congress to reauthorize the State Children's Health Insurance Plan (SCHIP).
Signing governors are requesting Federal reauthorization and funding to maintain current levels of coverage, expand coverage to additional enrollees and continued legal authority for states to pursue broader coverage initiatives.
Jodi Rell may be the only Republican to sign on to the letter.
